Rachel Spindler
Manager of Interpreting Services, Community
Rachel was born and raised in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, where she took her first ASL class from a local Deaf instructor. She went on to complete an Interpreter Training Program at Waubonsee Community College in Aurora, IL.
Rachel has interpreted professionally in a variety of settings, with a strong focus on K–12. She enjoys working with Deaf children and is passionate about guiding new interpreters as they navigate K–12 interpreting. As Manager of Interpreting Services, Rachel oversees all interpreters within the AIDeaf Community, including scheduling, placements, recruiting, and onboarding, ensuring high-quality communication access and strong support for both interpreters and the Deaf community.
