Belen Jean Vriezen

Belen Vriezen has been working as a professional interpreter since 2009. Belen earned an undergraduate degree in Interpretation from Fresno State, learning directly from Deaf professors across all ASL and Deaf culture coursework, and later completed a Master of Social Work (MSW) in Mental Health. This educational foundation brings both linguistic precision and an empathetic, community-centered approach to professional practice.
Currently residingin the Twin Cities, Minnesota, Belen stays closely connected to the local Deaf community and resides near one of the region's last remaining Deaf clubs. Outside of work, Belen spends time with family, including a spouse who is also an interpreter and an avid hockey fan, and their toddler. Depending on the season, they can be found outdoors enjoying local playgrounds, lakes, camping trips, or the ice rink.
