Valerie Kulikov grew up in Frederick, Maryland and attended the Maryland School for the Deaf. She later traveled to Russia to pursue a competitive swimming career, where she learned Russian Sign Language (RSL) and discovered a passion for connecting across languages and cultures.
Valerie’s career has spanned diverse roles, from interpreting in multiple languages to supporting blind individuals and coordinating interpreting services. As a Deaf professional, she is committed to bridging communication gaps and ensuring the Deaf community receives the respectful, high-quality services it deserves. At AIDeaf, Valerie manages our interpreters within AIDeaf Connect and provides day-to-day support, helping them succeed in their assignments while strengthening our mission of accessibility and inclusion.
